This change, prompted by Cordex's competitive pricing in spring 2023, pleasantly surprised Bruining. Bruining wraps approximately twelve thousand midi-bales annually using two Criap 8590 baler combinations, developed by RVB Mechanisatie. These bales, primarily intended for private horse owners and feed merchants, require more precise preservation than larger round bales. "An optimal taste experience, which is crucial for the horses, is achieved at a moisture content of fifteen to sixteen percent," explains Bruining. Therefore, the quality of the wrapping film plays a decisive role.

Cordex: Proven under all conditions. Bruining's experience with Cordex film has been consistently positive. Both the film's durability and reliability under various weather conditions—from wet to very hot—have convinced Bruining of the superiority of the Cordex product. "I have no complaints about mold or poor preservation," he says enthusiastically. "Sometimes batches are left in the sun in the yard, and I've found that the plastic doesn't slip off the roll or cause any problems with the adhesive," explains Bruining. "I haven't had any issues working with the film in the last year," he emphasizes. Its practical application is excellent.
